Yesterday Delilah ate spaghetti all by herself for the first time! You see she doesn't like macaroni- unless it's mac n cheese so we couldn't just give her cooked noodles with sauce because she wouldn't eat it. So when she did try spaghetti we'd just cut it up & feed it to her with a fork. Last night she would have none of that. Not even the slightest little bit. So I put some on her tray to see if she'd even eat it. I thought it'd just end up on the floor but she actually picked it up & ate it!

Tonight I was reading to Delilah when she pulled up my shirt exposing my tummy (she likes to lift her daddy's shirt up & smack him on the belly- or pull out his belly button lint ;-D ). I wasn't even really paying attention thinking she'd either just smack it or be distracted by something else. And that was when I felt it.... She was giving me belly farts! Or trying to anyway LoL It was so stinkin' cute- John & I give her belly farts like all the time and it was so adorable seeing her (er well feeling her) trying to do it back :-)

Trimmin' the tree with mommy... and getting upset when I took the ornament to hang it.

Um, dad... this wallet is empty!

She loves to pull down our big blanket that I use to cover up with and snuggle it & roll herself up in it

Gosh I suck

I really was going to try to keep up with whole blogging thing but I've totally been sucking. I just have no ambition. Both of the girls are doing great. Delilah just finished preschool today. We had a rough start but it got better. And then she went back to the crying beforehand and giving John issues. She was very happy to learn today was her last day and promptly requested she go to a new preschool. Which she will be in September. Agap.eland! I am so excited for her to begin there. I think (hope) she'll like it a lot more and she'll learn lots of new things. I just hope we don't have the same issues with the new place as we did with the old place. Tatum is growing in leaps and bounds. Recently she's been trying to blow bubbles with the bubble toy grammy got her. Almost a month since I last blogged- where does the time go? What to write about? I have no idea. Basically things are pretty boring. We've just been doing what John does while I work... going to Target for our weekly Target visit, going to the marina when it's nice, visiting John's parents. We've also visited Ash & the boys for some play dates. Other than that it's been low key which is nice since I only get three months with Tatum. Don't get me wrong I know I'm lucky to have the time I do with Tatum but I just wish I could have six months with her. My mom has since stopped coming during the weekends as I can lift Delilah again. It's not too bad actually- I was worried about it but I'm surviving. I've even been able to get them places by myself. Usually just to visit John at work or for our weekly Sunday visit to my parents.
