So Delilah now has a bottom molar that has come through. I seriously never know she's teething... a very good thing!... and it's always a surprise when one of those cute little teeth just appear. She is just an amazing little girl and she makes me laugh every day- I love her so much! The other day I put one of her Little People persons in her play kitchen fridge & closed the door. She opened the door to the fridge, looked at the Little People person and just started laughing. She opened & closed the door a few times peaking in at the Little People person before taking him out and putting him down the sink drain. Silly girl! The day before yesterday she was trying to run- it was so cute watching her try to take off. She'd make it a few steps before ka-plopp! We all fall down. Today I had my very first jewelry party. It was pretty successful given that it was my very first party & only 3 people showed up. But that's ok- it was fun and we all had a fantastic ti...

This morning John, Delilah & I were in the bedroom getting ready to come downstairs to start our day. I asked her if she wanted a little brother or sister and she shook her head & said "No!" When we asked her again she seemed more susceptible to the idea LoL John told me the other week that Delilah is terribly afraid of his e-mail notifier. Today I got to witness first hand how afraid she is. John was in the kitchen loading the dishwasher, I was in the doorway of the living room and the kitchen and Delilah was in the front room. She started crying and hauling diapered butt in the living room. At first I thought it was because she realized she was, essentially, alone. I went in to get her and I noticed that John's e-mail notifier was on the screen (it's this butler through In.credimail that walks out on to the screen and says "You have mail sir." I felt horrible for her but I thought it was funny too. O! I just remembered this- she has a molar in!! We...

New word!

Yesterday Delilah & I were looking at the calendar in the kitchen (she likes to look at it- it used to have greyhounds and now it's New Moon hehe) and I said to her "Yea Delilah that's the calendar." And then she said it- she said calendar! It sounded like "ca-endar". The "L" was silent. And it wasn't a fluke- she said it again later when John was looking at the calendar with her.

Quiet on the blog land front

It seems quiet in blog land lately... I know I haven't had much to say myself either... Hmm.... Delilah's saying "no" and "bye"... she can't say yes but she knows how to respond to convey yes. She doesn't want me to rock her any more :-( I wouldn't rock her to sleep but for a few minutes before bed she & I would have our snuggle time. Now she just wants to play with the arm rest of the glider or give kisses to the zebra & bird on the comforter hanging over the glider. The past two nights when I asked her if she wanted to go to sleep she "said" yes. My little girl is growing up! *sniff sniff* Time for another one LoL! The other day she was standing behind the one wall & kind of peeked out around it and said "Boo!" It was so stinkin' cute! Last Saturday she tried to bite me- that's right... my sweet little darling tried to bite me! Why you ask? Well because she wanted to go around to the side of the end table...
