Trout Pond Park

Today Delilah & I went to meet my sister and niece at Trou.t Pon.d Par.k. We haven't seen each other for awhile so it was nice to get together. Bobbi and I talked while Deonda & Delilah played (Delilah was walking around the pavilion with Deonda). It was kind of wet there since it had just downpoured but we enjoyed ourselves none-the-less. There were ducks there that are sooo used to people they just let you walk right up to them. Of course they don't want to be touched & as soon as you try (Deonda hehe) they shuffle away.

After our visit we headed home for lunch and a nap (Delilah- not me ;-) ). We were supposed to go with Rebecca to the strawberry festival but an emergency came up so we ended up not going. I was going to go by myself but I decided just to head over right away to visit with John.

Tomorrow I'm going to my mom's and we're heading to her church for a luncheon- can't wait!

At first glance, I thought that was little Bobbi and little Elizabeth in the pics!!! That sure brings back memories!

I really was going to try to keep up with whole blogging thing but I've totally been sucking. I just have no ambition. Both of the girls are doing great. Delilah just finished preschool today. We had a rough start but it got better. And then she went back to the crying beforehand and giving John issues. She was very happy to learn today was her last day and promptly requested she go to a new preschool. Which she will be in September. Agap.eland! I am so excited for her to begin there. I think (hope) she'll like it a lot more and she'll learn lots of new things. I just hope we don't have the same issues with the new place as we did with the old place. Almost a month since I last blogged- where does the time go? What to write about? I have no idea. Basically things are pretty boring. We've just been doing what John does while I work... going to Target for our weekly Target visit, going to the marina when it's nice, visiting John's parents. We've also visited Ash & the boys for some play dates. Other than that it's been low key which is nice since I only get three months with Tatum. Don't get me wrong I know I'm lucky to have the time I do with Tatum but I just wish I could have six months with her. My mom has since stopped coming during the weekends as I can lift Delilah again. It's not too bad actually- I was worried about it but I'm surviving. I've even been able to get them places by myself. Usually just to visit John at work or for our weekly Sunday visit to my parents.
