At Delilah's pediatrician appointment her dr said that we could let Delilah start practicing using a spoon. And that's just what we did. On Tuesday at dinner time I got out some applesauce & handed Delilah a spoon. She actually did very well with it considering- she got the spoon in her mouth 2 times without my help. And it actually had applesauce on it!

We had a very lovely pre-Thanksgiving dinner at Ash & Jon's. Delilah was being shy and did not want to leave my side. She wouldn't even play unless she was like right by my feet. She's been super clingy since last Sunday for some reason and she also wanted nothing to do with John when I'm around. I think it's a phase.

Thursday we had a nice, peaceful Thanksgiving dinner at my parents'. Delilah refused to eat any turkey or mashed potatoes. She also wanted nothing to do with her Gerber meal of pasta n stars and green beans.

That explains why she was trying to grab the spoon from her Pappy today when he was feeding her applesauce!!

I really was going to try to keep up with whole blogging thing but I've totally been sucking. I just have no ambition. Both of the girls are doing great. Delilah just finished preschool today. We had a rough start but it got better. And then she went back to the crying beforehand and giving John issues. She was very happy to learn today was her last day and promptly requested she go to a new preschool. Which she will be in September. Agap.eland! I am so excited for her to begin there. I think (hope) she'll like it a lot more and she'll learn lots of new things. I just hope we don't have the same issues with the new place as we did with the old place. Almost a month since I last blogged- where does the time go? What to write about? I have no idea. Basically things are pretty boring. We've just been doing what John does while I work... going to Target for our weekly Target visit, going to the marina when it's nice, visiting John's parents. We've also visited Ash & the boys for some play dates. Other than that it's been low key which is nice since I only get three months with Tatum. Don't get me wrong I know I'm lucky to have the time I do with Tatum but I just wish I could have six months with her. My mom has since stopped coming during the weekends as I can lift Delilah again. It's not too bad actually- I was worried about it but I'm surviving. I've even been able to get them places by myself. Usually just to visit John at work or for our weekly Sunday visit to my parents.
