26 years ago today (now w/pics!)

26 years ago today I was brought in to this world. At 9:01 a.m. exactly I graced my parents lives and they graced mine. My mom went in to labor with me Sunday November 6th. She had contractions throughout the day but even at my dad's suggestion didn't call the doctor. It wasn't until later that day when my grandma suggested mom call the doctor that my mom called the doctor. Mom went in to the hospital, checked in, and labored with me until the next morning. It's so different from nowadays- they had mom laying flat on her back (a no-no today) with a monitor strapped around her. All she can really remember as far as painkillers is that she got a shot in her butt LoL Dad had left for the night and the next morning when mom was ready to push Dad hadn't been called yet! Mom kept asking them to call him so he could get there & they kept saying they'd call him. Finally after mom asked again if Dad was called (and they said no) she was like call him now! He made it just in time and after some pushing there I was.

OMGosh, I absolutely loved seeing those pictures! I love that first one of you parents... they were hot stuff back in the day (not that they aren't not hehe... Love you, Mary!)

Oh my! Those pics are something else. I really appreciate the one you chose of me holding you with the pink sleeper. Yeah, I'm hot! Or NOT!! Ah well, that's okay. At least I was young... Love 'yas!!

Gosh I suck

I really was going to try to keep up with whole blogging thing but I've totally been sucking. I just have no ambition. Both of the girls are doing great. Delilah just finished preschool today. We had a rough start but it got better. And then she went back to the crying beforehand and giving John issues. She was very happy to learn today was her last day and promptly requested she go to a new preschool. Which she will be in September. Agap.eland! I am so excited for her to begin there. I think (hope) she'll like it a lot more and she'll learn lots of new things. I just hope we don't have the same issues with the new place as we did with the old place. Tatum is growing in leaps and bounds. Recently she's been trying to blow bubbles with the bubble toy grammy got her. It's so adorable as she dip the wand in the spill-proof container (gotta love those), pulls it out and attempts to blow bubbles. She actually did blow bubbles today but of course I missed it becau...

Almost a month since I last blogged- where does the time go? What to write about? I have no idea. Basically things are pretty boring. We've just been doing what John does while I work... going to Target for our weekly Target visit, going to the marina when it's nice, visiting John's parents. We've also visited Ash & the boys for some play dates. Other than that it's been low key which is nice since I only get three months with Tatum. Don't get me wrong I know I'm lucky to have the time I do with Tatum but I just wish I could have six months with her. My mom has since stopped coming during the weekends as I can lift Delilah again. It's not too bad actually- I was worried about it but I'm surviving. I've even been able to get them places by myself. Usually just to visit John at work or for our weekly Sunday visit to my parents.
