Happy First Birthday Monkey Man

Yesterday Landon officially turned 1 year old. 1 year ago yesterday Ashley was in surgery (unfortunately a c-section had to be done) having her baby boy brought in to the world. We are so fortunate to be a part of these boys' lives- I just cannot imagine not being, or having them be, a part of the family. I see Ashley as a parent... she and my own mother are my role models. I strive to be as good of a mother as Ashley is to her sons and as my mother was to me. Happy Birthday Landon! We love you so much! Aunt Lizzy, Uncle John, & Delilah :-*

Also yesterday Delilah enjoyed her first bathtime experience in the "grown-up" bath tub. I do believe we'll be giving Delilah her baths in there instead. She was getting too long for the rainforest bath tub anyway. Of course we took pics- so enjoy!!

Awwwwww I'm going to cry! Thank you so much for saying that. I hope you know that you are one of MY role models as a parent. You are amazing as a mother, wife, friend, daughter, and everything you do. I love you so much as a best friend and a sister.

The pics, of course, are adorable to the extreme.

Aww that was cute and nice what you said about Ashley. I dont mind if you follow my blog as long as i can follow yours. Thank you so much listening last weekend. You dont have to thank me for my help at the party because i was glad to be part of it this year and to help. Delilah is so so cute. You and John make one cute baby. So does Jon and Ashley. I hope Cody and I will too one day.

I really was going to try to keep up with whole blogging thing but I've totally been sucking. I just have no ambition. Both of the girls are doing great. Delilah just finished preschool today. We had a rough start but it got better. And then she went back to the crying beforehand and giving John issues. She was very happy to learn today was her last day and promptly requested she go to a new preschool. Which she will be in September. Agap.eland! I am so excited for her to begin there. I think (hope) she'll like it a lot more and she'll learn lots of new things. I just hope we don't have the same issues with the new place as we did with the old place. Almost a month since I last blogged- where does the time go? What to write about? I have no idea. Basically things are pretty boring. We've just been doing what John does while I work... going to Target for our weekly Target visit, going to the marina when it's nice, visiting John's parents. We've also visited Ash & the boys for some play dates. Other than that it's been low key which is nice since I only get three months with Tatum. Don't get me wrong I know I'm lucky to have the time I do with Tatum but I just wish I could have six months with her. My mom has since stopped coming during the weekends as I can lift Delilah again. It's not too bad actually- I was worried about it but I'm surviving. I've even been able to get them places by myself. Usually just to visit John at work or for our weekly Sunday visit to my parents.
