Knoebels- fun, food & not really any fantasy LoL

So we went to Knoebels with Ash & the boys and my mom & dad on Sunday. It was so fun! First we all went to eat at this place by the Flume- the food was decent but the prices were not. Afterwards we headed to the Flume to find that it was broken down & some people were stuck at the top! Yikes!! So we headed to the Pheonix. Ashley, John & I went on the Pheonix while my parents so graciously babysat for us. Then we headed back to the Flume to see if it was safe. Shawn didn't want to go on this time so it was just Ashley, John & I again. Shawn however did get to have some fun- my mom & dad let him play this water game that he super loved. And so did not want to stop playing when it was all over. The Haunted House was our next stop. Ashley, Shawn, John & I all went on. At first Shawn wanted to go with "Uncle John" but then he decided he better stick it out with mom.

Now some that know me well know that I love scary movies, Halloween, etc., etc. Which is why it was so hard for Ashley to fathom that I never kept my eyes open in the Haunted House. This time I did & I have to say that I'm not sure why it was ever labeled 3rd scariest in- well either the U.S. or PA... or the world... I forget which.. because it was LAME! But it was fun. We came out & were greeted by Ashley & Shawn. Ashley said they came out & Shawn says "I wasn't scared mommy." Aww!!

The funnest parts were about to come up next- we took Delilah on the carosel. I went on with her while Daddy stayed back to attempt to take pictures. Ashley & Landon also accompanied us. I placed Delilah on a horse that didn't move up & down. She wasn't liking that- and the ride hadn't even started yet! So I ended up on the horse with her. That ride wasn't much of a success but I had fun! After that it was a funnel cake (for me & John- not Delilah ;-) ) and then the train. She loved that! It was a nice peaceful ride & a nice end to the day.

O! John told me today that Delilah "shuffled" from the TV stand to her toy box! She loves going up to the glass at the TV stand to look at herself. She pulls herself up & stands there- sometimes watching TV. It's so cute. Anyway we moved her toy box next to it so she couldn't get to the cords behind the TV & she shuffled her way to it. My big girl!!

She tried squash w/zuccinni

I guess the day did have soooome perks LOL. It was fun taking the babies on their 1st carousel ride together :) And getting soaked on the tiny hill of the flume was a bit amusing :)

Hopefully we can all 4 adults and 3 kiddos go soon :)

A big thank you again to the bestest Knoebles baby sitter/entertainers ever... Shawn still is asking about "Ron!"

Liz, I am just in love with Delilah! She is so beautiful!! Isn't amazing how fast these girls learn new skills?!? I am always shocked when the girls do something new that I wasn't expecting yet!

Dad and I had a great time at Knoebels. He's still talking about how cute Delilah was when she would see kids walk by, smiling at them. We had a good time with the kids. To us, that's more fun than going on the rides, although I thoroughly enjoyed the train ride. Can't wait to do it again!!!

Love the squash/zuccinni pics. That's my girl, loving her veggies (just like her Grammy)!
