Yesterday John, Delilah & I went to lunch yesterday before I my appointment to have my tattoo finished. Delilah wanted some of my water and I put some in the straw to give her. Then I wanted to see if she could drink some from the straw. No luck. But after a few more tries- success!! What a big girl *sniff sniff*

Today we all went to Lowes for some weed blocking stuff and mulch. On the way the one street where a former friend lived that was little 2 minutes away, was taped off. There were cop cars everywhere- city, staties... and something that looked like a coroner's car. John said there was probably a murder. I was like don't even say that or we're moving like now! Later when we went out again we saw the news car. Upon tuning in to the news at 6:00 we learned there was indeed a murder. It was a domestic dispute apparently. The woman was killed- the man was in critical condition. It's scary... and a shame... two people lost their lives today.

On a happier note- I got my tattoo finished yesterday! It looks great and I'm so happy to have it done. It's sooo sore today though! I was in the chair from 2:30 until 7:15. I was about dying at the end of it. Ouch!

Ah, how sweet. I had a good time with our girl yesterday (and today). For once, it was all about Grammy - and not Pappy. Yay for me.

That shooting really is scary. The paper said that they were outside on the patio when it happened - stray bullets? Yikes!!

I really was going to try to keep up with whole blogging thing but I've totally been sucking. I just have no ambition. Both of the girls are doing great. Delilah just finished preschool today. We had a rough start but it got better. And then she went back to the crying beforehand and giving John issues. She was very happy to learn today was her last day and promptly requested she go to a new preschool. Which she will be in September. Agap.eland! I am so excited for her to begin there. I think (hope) she'll like it a lot more and she'll learn lots of new things. I just hope we don't have the same issues with the new place as we did with the old place. Almost a month since I last blogged- where does the time go? What to write about? I have no idea. Basically things are pretty boring. We've just been doing what John does while I work... going to Target for our weekly Target visit, going to the marina when it's nice, visiting John's parents. We've also visited Ash & the boys for some play dates. Other than that it's been low key which is nice since I only get three months with Tatum. Don't get me wrong I know I'm lucky to have the time I do with Tatum but I just wish I could have six months with her. My mom has since stopped coming during the weekends as I can lift Delilah again. It's not too bad actually- I was worried about it but I'm surviving. I've even been able to get them places by myself. Usually just to visit John at work or for our weekly Sunday visit to my parents.
